You must reach your own heart before you can touch anyone else's.
Never wake the audience from the dream.
If you can't say it simply, you don't deserve to teach it.
When you speak to everyone, you speak to no one. Find two or three real faces and speak only to them. The rest of the room will feel it anyway.
Never tell when you can show by illustration.
Purpose before words. Always.
If you haven't argued against yourself, you're not ready to argue for yourself.
Appeal to good motives and emotions. Don't guilt someone into action — help them see how it expresses the love they already have.
Speak from the heart, not the page.
